Vane anemometers

Vane anemometers are the most suitable instruments for quick measurements of the speed and flow rate of an incident airflow. Being larger than a hot-wire and having a generally lower measuring range, they are the ideal solution for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system checks to carry out purely directional measurements at air outlets.

This type of anemometer can be calibrated from 0.1 m/s.

Senseca has vane probes for measuring air speed only – AP472S2 – or equipped with a K thermocouple sensor for additional temperature measurement – AP472S1 – which can be connected to the series of portable anemometer-thermometers.
