In addition to the most well-known photoradiometric quantities, Senseca has a wide range of probes that operate in specific spectral ranges.
For example, the LP471RAD probe can measure irradiance in the 400 nm to 1050 nm spectral range.
LP471BLUE, on the other hand, measures the effective irradiance in the blue light spectral band. Radiation in this portion of the spectrum can produce photochemical damage to the retina. Another area of use for the probe is the monitoring of blue light irradiance used in the treatment of neonatal jaundice.
